Bridget and Kerry believe Cate took the job as school nurse so she could spy on them; a private conversation becomes public when Cate accidentally switches on the public address system.
3.04 – Out of the Box (October 15, 2004)

Kerry is livid when Bridget mocks her art project at the mall, but she forgets her ire when a hot young artist asks her out; C.J. finds himself striking out at speed-dating, while Jim discovers he is a hit with women.

Bridget and Carrie inherit the family’s mini-van but won’t give Rory a lift, so he steals the car and drives it himself, but he damages it, and the girls get the blame.

As Student President, Bridget must organise the school Halloween Dance. Can she do it, or will she be distracted by Pete? Also, why isn’t CJ interested in Halloween?

Cate’s job as school nurse is to check out kids like Bridget who claim to be ill to get out of sport. Bridget takes up tennis when she falls for the coach, but is horrified to find he fancies Cate.

Everyone in the Hennessy family seems to have a secret: Rory won’t say who beat him up, Bridget and Carrie have secret fake IDs, and Cate’s being pursued by a secret admirer – the school tennis coach.

The family offers to prepare Thanksgiving dinner for Cate and give her a rest, but it’s a culinary disaster. Jim `mends’ the TV, and Cate brings an unexpected guest, Principal Ed Gibb.

When Bridget is turned down for a modelling job, Jim finds out that the head of the agency is Jackie, an old flame of his. He gets in touch, and soon they are trying to rekindle the flame. Raquel Welch guest stars.

Bridget’s grades jeopardize her chance to play tennis in front of a Princeton scout and Cate’s interference only proves Kerry’s point that Bridget is always getting the easy way out.
3.12 – A Very C.J. Christmas (December 17, 2004)

The Hennessy household bends over backward to keep C.J. from spending Christmas alone in Las Vegas; Rory decides to break up with his wealthy girlfriend rather than buy her a substandard gift.

Cate tries to persuade CJ, who’s working as a supply teacher at the school, not to report Rory for cheating in his test. Bridget breaks her leg – and it’s Kerry’s fault.

The Principal has a new girlfriend, Cheryl, much to Cate’s annoyance. When CJ tutors her she makes sexual advances to him. Should he tell the Principal?

Cate is whisked off to re-visit old times with an old flame, but she seems to have grown up where he hasn’t, and she doesn’t want to be a rebel any more.

Cate and CJ discover Kerry has been emailing Bruno, the boy she met in Europe. What they don’t know is that she invited him to stay, and he’s living in the attic.
3.17 – Volleybrawl (January 28, 2005)

Tensions run high at the school volleyball match and after missiles are thrown, Carrie’s team is forced to forfeit, but who was responsible? CJ is blamed, but was it really Cate?
3.18 – Freaky Friday (February 4, 2005)

The family decides to watch `Freaky Friday’, after which they all fall asleep – and wake up in different bodies. Bridget swaps with Cate, CJ with Grandpa and Rory with his hamster, but Carrie’s still herself.
3.19 – Torn Between Two Lovers (February 11, 2005)

Valentine’s Day finds CJ in a predicament when he commits to two different Valentine’s Day dates – Principal Gibb’s ex-girlfriend, Cheryl, and Bridget and Kerry’s uptight maths teacher, Mrs Krupp.

CJ is shocked and delighted when he finally meets his biological father who’s a motivational speaker, but Jim has his suspicions about the man’s true motives for the meeting.
3.21 – The After Party (March 4, 2005)

Bridget wants to hold an after-prom party in a hotel, but Cate says no, and instead organises one at their home – much to the kids’ embarrassment.
3.22 – The Teachers’ Lounge (April 1, 2005)

CJ finally becomes a fully qualified teacher and is allowed access to the teachers’ lounge, but he is bullied by the home economics teacher and leaves again.
3.23 – The Sleepover (April 8, 2005)

The family wrongly assumes that Cate and Principal Gibb are now an item when they are found asleep on the settee after watching a movie, and the kids go ice-fishing with Grandpa.

C.J. spills the beans to Bridget when he realizes Cate may be starting a relationship with Principal Gibb, and Cate gets even by assigning C.J. to take charge of the students detained on Ditch Day.
